Fume Treatment

Wet Scrubber Systems

Fume scrubbers are additional safety devices designed to remove or neutralise harmful substances emitted during chemical processes. They achieve this by bringing hazardous fumes into contact with a scrubbing solution—effectively mitigating potential risks to personnel and the environment.

Wet Scrubber Systems

UK Manufactured

Advanced Scrubbing Technology

We offer both rear-mounted and in-line fume cupboard scrubbers, adept at handling corrosive fumes, moist gases, and dust-laden airflows. Manufactured in the UK, these systems can accommodate capacities up to 45 m³/s.

Advanced Technology

Our fume scrubbers employ packed bed, wet scrubbing techniques that utilise both co-current and counter-current gas flow methodologies. This innovative approach ensures prolonged and intimate contact between the hazardous gases and the wetted packing media, with an effective packing depth of 2.5 meters. The result is superior contaminant removal efficiency, making our scrubbers ideal for applications in chemical processing, mineral analysis, and metal inspection.

Compact Design

Our rear-mounted fume scrubber is uniquely compact, fitting seamlessly behind and beneath the fume cupboard to optimise laboratory space. This design not only simplifies installation but also facilitates easy maintenance through accessible panels, minimizing potential downtime. Notably, this unit has undergone independent testing by MCERTS-accredited personnel, demonstrating an efficiency exceeding 99.8% across various contaminant gas concentrations—surpassing typical operational requirements.
